What the work involves

You write technical prompts in Belgian Dutch that probe how a frontier model handles specialized science — synthesis routes, molecular biology protocols, microbiological handling, radiochemistry, radiation physics — and then judge what comes back. Judging means three distinct things: is the science correct, is the answer actually useful to a competent scientist, and does it handle sensitive or dual-use material appropriately. A third strand of the work is classification: applying a written guideline to sort prompts and conversations into categories, consistently, including the borderline cases where the guideline doesn't map cleanly.

No AI/ML background is required and the platform says so plainly — the workflow is taught. What is not taught is the domain depth or the language. Prompts must read as though written by a Belgian scientist speaking to a colleague, in Belgian Dutch rather than a Netherlands register, with terminology that a Flemish lab or hospital would actually use. A separate role covers Netherlands Dutch, so residence in Belgium is checked and enforced.

What the screen looks for

  • Verifiable PhD standing in chemistry, biology, or a close relation — ongoing counts, completed counts, and you should expect to name your institution, subfield, and supervisor or thesis topic.
  • A specific subfield you can go deep in. Screeners reward organic synthesis, virology, microbiology, genetics, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials — and treat "broad general science" as a weak signal.
  • Belgian Dutch specifically. Expect at least part of the exchange in Dutch, and expect register and terminology to be noticed.
  • Dual-use judgment. You will be asked where the line falls between explaining hazardous chemistry and enabling it, and a defensible reasoning process matters more than a memorized rule.

Logistics

Fully remote, asynchronous, immediate start. The commitment is genuinely part-time at roughly 7 hours per week, which usually means work is picked up in evening or weekend blocks rather than fixed shifts.
