You will spend most of your hours reading legal work product that a model produced — a draft indemnification clause, a summary of a discovery dispute, an analysis of whether a cross-border transfer clears GDPR — and explaining, in writing, exactly where it is right, where it is wrong, and why a partner would send it back. Alongside review, you'll author reference material: sample agreements, clause libraries, fact patterns with model answers, and structured commentary on legal scenarios in M&A, private equity, capital markets, and data privacy. Some tasks ask you to help build or apply the rubric itself — the criteria other reviewers will use to grade the same category of output. Expect iterative cycles: your feedback goes back into the pipeline, the model output changes, and you review again against a moving baseline.

What the platform screens for

micro1's screen is AI-led and conversational, and it pushes on specifics. Naming your firm and practice group is table stakes; the interview goes after deal and matter detail — what you actually drafted, what you negotiated, what the counterparty pushed back on, and what you'd flag as legally wrong versus merely stylistically off. Bar admission in good standing is checked. Written communication carries unusual weight here because the deliverable is writing: reviewers who can only say "this is incorrect" are less useful than those who can say what the correct provision is, cite the authority or market practice behind it, and describe the failure mode in a sentence another reviewer could apply consistently. No AI or ML background is expected or asked about.
