What the work involves
You will spend most of your time reading and responding to AI outputs about fitness: a generated 12-week hypertrophy block, a cueing script for a barbell hinge, a response to a client with a recent lumbar disc injury, a nutrition-adjacent claim that shades into scope-of-practice territory. Your job is to judge whether the output is programmatically sound, safe for the stated population, and something you would actually say to a paying client — then write down exactly why, in language a non-trainer reviewer can follow. Some assignments ask you to author reference material from scratch (progressions, contraindication notes, motivational framing for a specific client profile); others ask you to compare two model responses and defend a ranking.
- Reviewing program design for progressive overload, volume, recovery, and goal alignment
- Flagging unsafe exercise selection, bad cueing, or missing screening questions
- Marking where a model overstates certainty or drifts into medical or dietetic advice
- Writing rationales that are specific enough to be reproducible by another expert
What the platform screens for
micro1 runs an AI-led interview before any project match. It probes whether your experience is real and specific: which certification, current or lapsed, which populations you've actually trained, how you handled a client who reported pain mid-session. Expect follow-ups that go one layer deeper than your first answer — vague or textbook responses tend to end screens early. Written clarity matters as much as domain depth, because the deliverable is prose. No AI or annotation background is required.
Logistics
Fully remote, contractor status, asynchronous within task deadlines. Volume fluctuates with client demand — treat it as supplemental rather than a replacement for training income. Most contributors report 10–20 hours per week when a project is active, with occasional calibration calls or written guideline updates between batches. Pay bands are as observed on the platform and not guaranteed for any individual assignment.
