What the work involves
This is a recruiting role in expertise only — you are not filling requisitions for micro1 or its customer. Instead, you produce the artifacts and reasoning that teach a model how a competent recruiter thinks: writing and critiquing sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles, screening resumes against a defined requirement set and explaining every accept/reject call, drafting structured interview guides and scoring rubrics, and comparing model-generated candidate summaries or outreach messages against what you would actually send. Some tasks are generative (produce the ideal Boolean string, the ideal rejection rationale); others are evaluative (rank two model outputs, flag where a model hallucinated a qualification or missed a disqualifying gap).
Typical task volume varies by project phase. Expect batches of resume-screening items, market-research prompts ("what does a senior SRE cost in Warsaw and why"), and longer written critiques where your rationale matters more than your verdict. Reviewers read the rationale closely — thin justifications get rework.
What the platform screens for
- Verifiable recruiting history. Roles you sourced for, req volume, agency vs. in-house, and the seniority bands you actually worked. Vague "full-cycle recruiting" claims don't survive follow-up.
- Screening judgment under ambiguity. Given an imperfect resume and a real requirement list, can you articulate a defensible decision instead of a gut call?
- Writing quality. Much of the deliverable is prose. Clear, specific, unpadded English is a hard requirement.
- Bias awareness. You'll be asked how you'd handle a model output that keys on a proxy variable — school prestige, employment gaps, name origin.
Logistics
Contractor engagement, fully remote, asynchronous. No fixed shifts; work is claimed from a queue with per-batch deadlines. Contributors commonly report 10–25 hours per week, though availability expectations shift with project demand and can pause between phases. Pay is hourly and observed in the $30–42/hr range, varying by assessed skill tier and project — not a guaranteed rate. Independent delivery matters: there is little hand-holding between task instructions and submission.
