What the work actually is

You are auditing, not producing. Each item arrives as a complete package: the task prompt as an AI agent received it, the agent's transcript, whatever files it produced (a quote sheet, a spec comparison, a PO reconciliation, a pipeline summary), and a scoresheet an AI grader has already filled in. Your job is to open the files and answer four things — whether the task is something that would actually cross your desk, whether the technical content holds up (part numbers, sizing, lead times, freight terms, tax and discount math, regulatory or standards references), whether each of the grader's eleven yes/no calls is right, and whether the final band is defensible. You never rebuild the deliverable or write the correct quote yourself.

Most of the value is in the disagreements. A grader will happily mark "no fabricated figures" on a quote that lists a valid catalogue number against a price and lead time that no distributor has honoured in years, or pass a proposal that quotes FOB destination while the terms section says otherwise. Catching that requires someone who has specced, quoted or expedited for a living. Every judgment needs a short written reason — usually two to four sentences — that another practitioner could follow to the same conclusion.

What the screen looks for

  • A specific lane. Three roles are open: technical/scientific product sales reps (4+ years sizing, speccing and quoting themselves), first-line supervisors of non-retail sales teams (4+ years owning a B2B or distribution team's quota and pipeline), and order clerks (3+ years of real order entry with quotes, POs and backorders at a distributor or manufacturer). Apply to the one that is genuinely yours; the domain probes are lane-specific.
  • Hands on the numbers. Screens push on whether you personally configured and priced product, not whether you sat near someone who did. Transactional and SDR-style selling, and renewal-only account management, are explicitly weaker fits.
  • Written English at business standard, because the reasons you write are the deliverable.
  • Basic spreadsheet and PDF fluency — enough to check whether extended prices, margins, quantities and freight lines reconcile.

Logistics

Fully remote and asynchronous. Items are claimed from a queue and take about an hour each; there are no live calls with clients and no fixed shift. Volume fluctuates with project demand, so treat this as variable supplementary work alongside a working role rather than a guaranteed weekly load. The $50–55/hr band is what has been observed on this project and is not a guarantee.
